Computer has always assisted to solve the
problems faced by the mankind since the time
of invention.

The word computer means something which

computes or a machine for performing
calculations automatically, but, today
computer means not merely a calculator. It
does vast variety of jobs with tremendous
speed and efficiency.

 Today people use computers in almost every

walk of life. Electronic computers have now
become an indispensable part of every
profession: so do research. Computers have a
very important role to play in all science
research activities.
ROLE OF COMPUTERS IN DATA ANALYSIS

This phase consist of the analysis of data,

hypothesis testing and generalizations and
interpretation.

Data analysis phase mainly consist of

statistical analysis of the data and
interpretation of result.
 WHEN COMPUTER IS NOT USED.

In early time when the computer is not used in

data analysis, hypothesis testing and
generalizations and interpretation. The
researcher had to face.

Problems
Use different method or stistical formulas.
Spent a much time.
Count irrelevant material.

An analysist is working in such project in

which he has to calculate the data by many
time for the same process and he use this
data to find out the final observation or result.
For example he is performing acid base
titration in a lab he use apparatus to find out
his observation and then he has to calculate
final result he gets some help from statistical
formulas.

Then to find out actual result he will use the
stistical formulas .

out his observation and he has to calculate
final result he get some help from statistical
formulas then he use the computer software
to calculate the final result .

He putt all the data in a software like SPSS.

And find out the final result with easily.
