HISTORY

● Honda motor company,Ltd. Is a Japanese public multinational conglomerate


corporation primarily known as a manufacturer of automobiles, aircrafts,
motorcycle,and powr equipment.
● Honda has been the world largest automobiles manufacturer since 1959 as
well as the world's largest manufacturer of combustion engines measured
by volume,producing more than 14 million internal combustion engines each
year
● In 2001 Honda was the eight largest automobiles manufacturer in the world
behind Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai, general motors, Ford, Nissan and
Fiat Chrysler automobiles in 2015
● Honda was the first Japanese company to manufacture a dedicated luxury
brand, Acura in 1986.

Consumer behavior is the study of how people make


decisions about what they buy ,want , need or act in regard
to a product , service or the company.
It is critical to understand consumer behavior to know
how potential customer will react or respond to the new
product or service. It also help companies to identify
opportunities that are not currently met.
FACTORS AFFECTING CONSUMER
BEHAVIOR
● Psychological factors- In daily life , consumers are
being affected by many issues that are unique to their
thought process. Psychological factors may include
perception of a need or situation, person’s ability to learn
and understand information , and an individual’s attitude.
Therefore marketers must take these psychological factors
in mind before creating campaigns.
Personal factors- personal factors are characteristics that
are specific to a person a d may not relate to other people
within the same group. These characteristics may include how
a person make decisions ,their unique habits and interests and
interests and opinions.
When considering personal factors decisions are also
influenced by age,gender, background and culture and other
personal issues.
Social factors- The third factor that has a significant
important on consumer behavior is social characteristics. Social
influencers are quite diverse and can include a person family ,
social interaction or school or college community , or any group
of people the person affiliate with.
It can also include a person's social class,which includes
income,living conditions , or education level. The social factors
are very diverse and is difficult to analyze when developing
market strategies.
