SHUBH AARAMBH
Shubh Aarambh was launched in November 2014 by Mondelez India Foods Pvt. Ltd.
Shubh Aarambh means “an auspicious beginning” and as the name suggests it is a new
beginning for change as the program focusses on the integrated development of children to
foster nutrition/health education, promote education and address social issues impacting young
people, gender equality and support young people to become better citizens.
Shubh Aarambh has a multi-pronged approach and its focus is on three key areas: health and
nutrition as part of the child’s holistic development, encouraging healthy life and encouraging
kitchen gardens.
They also have programmes to support skills and livelihoods and water conservation and
greening.
