Our endeavor

At Shiv Nadar School we create a safe environment for

our children and build awareness on
‘Safe Touch and Unsafe Touch’.

It is imperative for our children to be aware of their

personal safety in all environmental settings.

 Safe & Unsafe Touch

What we do –

• The students of Nursery are made to understand the subtle

difference between safe touch and unsafe touch through a
Puppet Show on the theme of the story Red Riding Hood and the
wolf.

• We then engage in a discussion after the show to ascertain

whether the children have comprehended the message intended
for them.

• The teachers follow up on this topic through a dialogue on a

regular basis in their respective classrooms.

We would like the parents to –

• Engage in conversation with your child regarding these issues in a

gentle and friendly manner.

• Listen to your child.

• Do not offer instant solutions, Do not change the subject, Do not

moralize, and Do not to say “I know………….”.

There are four
Private Body Parts –
Lips,
Chest,
Bottom
Between the legs.
No one should touch you on
these points on your body
except your parents while
bathing you and your doctor
if you are sick and only when
your parents are with you.

What is Safe touch? What is Unsafe touch ?
Good touch is patting on the Bad touch is when someone is
back, high fives, a flying kiss and touching u too much and you are
shaking hands. uncomfortable. You do not like it.
