INTRODUCTION

What is IoT ?

 The Internet of Things(IoT) is

inter-net working of physical devices.
 it is also known as internet of objects, refers
to wireless network .
IoT IN AGRICULTURE
• Today, India ranks second in the world. in farm
output 64% of cultivated land depends on
monsoons.
• Irrigation accounts for 55 to 75% of water
usage in India.
• Nearly 60% of the water used in irrigation is
wasted.
CROP WATER MANAGEMENT

Farmer pumps the water more or less to

cultivate the land.

This may result in wastage of water or

insufficiency to the crop.

It sends an alerting message to the

farmer when the moisture level increases
or decreases.
PEST MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL
WORK
• farmer hard work are damaged by predators(pests)
that results in huge loss to farmers.
• To prevent such situation Agriculture Internet of
Things has a system that detects the movement of
pests.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
Proposed system is to design and
develop a working for agriculture monitoring.
 temperature sensor is used to measure the
atmospheric temperature of agriculture field.
Temperature rang of -50c to +150c.
Humidity sensor is the amount of presence
of water in air.
Soil moisture sensor measure the water
content in the soil.
Illumination sensor can be sensed by electro
optical sensors.
SOIL MOISTURE SENSOR
• A sensor that will sense the moisture level in the land.
•Soil moisture probe is made up of multiple soil moisture
sensors.
ARDUINO
• Arduino Is An Open- Source Electronics Platform Based On Easy- To-use
Hardware and Software
ADVANTAGES
• Increases agriculture productivity.
• Comfort for the farmers.
• Enable farmers to easily visualize data and take action.
• Wireless connectivity.
• Speeds up agriculture activities.
• Safe and easy to use.
• Fast response.
• Environmental friendly system.
APPLICATIOS
• Can be used in agriculture for pesticide
sprinkling.
• Can be used in agriculture for fertilizer sprinkling.
• Can be used in agriculture for water sprinkling.
• Can be used for home gardening.
• Can be used in agriculture of public gardens.
• Can be used in playgrounds.
• Can be used for hotel and restaurants gardening.
CONCLUSION
• We can predict soil moisture level and motion of pests.
Irrigation system can be monitored. Damage caused by pests is
reduced. Increased productivity. water conservation, profit to
farmers.
