Minor and Major Offense


Minor Offense
MINOR OFFENSE

1. Running, playing, shouting


and loitering in the corridor
during class hour.

2. Using the chalk, blackboard,


whiteboard and bulletin board
without permission.
MINOR OFFENSE
3. Entering and living the
classroom without permission.

4. Doing other work not


related to the subject one is
attending.
MINOR OFFENSE
5. Littering and spitting on walls,
stairway and windows.

6. Earrings and body tattoo


among male and piercing
among female students.
MINOR OFFENSE

7. Jumping over the fence.

8. Bringing and using different


gadgets in school during class
hour.
MINOR OFFENSE

9. Applying hair dye.

10. Any violation of standard


behavior inside the campus
and inside the classroom is
considered minor offence.
MINOR OFFENSE SANCTION

First Offense - the concerned


student will attend a conference
together with his/her parent or
guardian, the adviser and the
guidance for consultation.
Second Offense - the adviser and
guidance shall make necessary remedial
action, thus, the concerned student shall
attend a conference together with
his/her parent or guardian and undergo
guidance and counseling sessions.
He/she shall also render 3 hours of
school community service.
Third Offense - He/she will
be suspended for 3-5 school
days and will be given take
home assignment or task
related to the subject in
school.
Major Offense

Classification A
MAJOR OFFENSE
1. Using and/or possessing
prohibited or harmful drugs.
2. Using and/or possessing
explosive.
3. Direct assault (verbal or
physical) on person in authority.
( faculty, non-teaching staff)
MAJOR OFFENSE
4. Involvement in rumble and
fighting inside the campus.
5. Forging and/or tampering
official records.
6. Using and/or possessing any
deadly weapon as knives, ice
pick and guns.
MAJOR OFFENSE
7. Destroying any school
property
8. Stealing or any attempt to
steal.
9. Membership in fraternity.
10. Any act of immorality that can
mitigate the good name of the
school.
SANCTION
• Exclusion - the parent and student will
be advised to transfer his/her child to
new environment to continue his/her
studies.
• Expulsion - the student will be refused
admittance in all school as per
recommendation by the school head
and approved by the Department of
Education.
Major Offense

Classification B
MAJOR OFFENSE
1. Disrespect among
classmates and school
authorities.
2. Extortion and bullying
3. Smoking inside the school
premises.
MAJOR OFFENSE
4. Cheating during examination.
5. Unauthorized
acquisition/possession of test
materials and notes.
6. Act of vandalism-writing and
curving on furniture, walls, floor,
fence, books, magazine or any
school property.
MAJOR OFFENSE
7. Possessing of indecent/
pornographic material such as
DVD, CD, Video, Photos and adult
magazine.
8. Coming to school drunk.
9. Inflicting physical injuries upon
another student or any person
within the school campus.
MAJOR OFFENSE
10. Gambling inside the
school premises.
11. Using and/or possessing
firecrackers
12. Possessing of cigarettes
and other related materials
like E-cigarettes.
SANCTION
First Offense¨ He/she will be
suspended for 3-5 school days and
will be given take home assignment
or task related to the subjects in
school. He/She will undergo
guidance and counseling after the
duration of suspension.
SANCTION
Second Offense ¨ 1 week
suspension and the school head
will ask assistance from the DSWD
for the counseling process while he
or she is suspended. and he/she is
required to submit written
narrative that is notarized and duly
signed by the concerned.
SANCTION
Third Offense ¨ Exclusion - the
parent and student will be
advised to have a new
environment for her child in
other to continue his/her studies.
SANCTION
Fourth Offense ¨ Expulsion - the
student will be refused
admittance in all school as per
recommendation by the school
head and approved by the
Department of Education.
