WHAT’S ROLLER SKATING?

▪ The roller skating consists of giving one series of returns to the track or
route of there lounge two manners which are fund and speed
▪ The skating is a sport that doesn´t do part of the Olympic games because
the sufficient countries don´t practice it to be a part of the Olympic
games
▪ In the last world ones of skating that have, Colombia has been the
champion, the last competition it was in China and it´s name is Roller
Games
What means roller skating for Me?

▪ Skate for me isn´t a sport, is a

mode of life, is my passion, is
everything to me.
▪ In all the competition that i
had, i feel an inexpressible
happiness, when i put my
skates and i start to skate, all
my problems dissapear, the
skate is My WORLD.
SKATING IN COLOMBIA

▪ In the last competition, which

was the roller games in China,
Colombia had an excellent
participation, having this result
▪ 23 Gold medals
▪ 13 silver medals
▪ 10 bronze medals
▪ Colombia was the best country
in this competition
THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPETITION IN
COLOMBIA

▪ Tomorrow in Colombia in the city

Cartagena start a competition
“INTERLIGAS” where all the
departments have a 6 skaters in
differents categories.
▪ The categories are: kids girls and
boys (14 years), teen girls and
boys (15 to 16 years) and adults
girls and boys (17 to 25 years)
▪ This competition is for a week.and
in the last day one department is
the champion depend on quantity
of medals
My idol is Steven Villegas

▪ Steven born in tulua-valle, he is

considérate like one of the best
skaters of the world. He won in
the last roller games a gold
medal in the test of 500
meters. In Colombia Steven is
the one of the best sprinters
and everybody he admires it.
At the moment he is part of the
valle selection for second time.
Steven in this moment is in
Cartagena representing valle in
the interligas.
