Electromagnetic Hyperloop
Electromagnetic Hyperloop
Electromagnetic Hyperloop
Objective
● When currents are induced, there will be a force act on the object
● Newton’s second law states that force acting on the object create
acceleration as a formula: sigmaF = ma
● Newton third law of motion plays a great role since the amount does the
amount of force due to the force of electric current and magnetic feild.
Mechanical energy
For the result of this project, the outcome is that the strength of the
electromagnetic force can be affected by the turns of the copper wire that wrap
over the tube or a pipe. Moreover, The stronger electromagnetic force that we
had it can increase and accelerate the speed of the projectile.
Conclusion
● the results does prove our hypothesis but the amount of force is not enough
due to what we expected
Errors
● Time management
● Fragile circuit
● The size of capacitors is too big
● Thickness of PVC pipe
● Coil wire are not attrach to PVC uniformly
Suggestion
● Start the product earlier since it require many trials in order to get the
product work.
● Be accurate with the materials because it require a precise PVC to create
enough electromagnetic force to create a motion of the ball
