 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this report is to study the strategies of the bevrages
that which of the pepsi is doing in pakistani market for its product
pepsico. It is the world reowned brand, which operates among all over
the world. Now a days pepsi is recognized as pakistanis national drink .
Pepsi greatest rival is Coca-cola. Coca-cola is also the international
recognized brand
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
 INTRODUCTION
COCA COLA IN PAKISTAN :
In 1953 Coca-cola established its facilities in pakistan . The
brands in pakistan in which Coca Cola is operating such as :- Coke , fanta , and sprite
. The plant of the Coca-Cola beverages in pakistan limited are in the karachi ,
hyderabad , faisalabad , lahore , multan , sialkot & rahim-yar-khan and the
remaining two plants which id independently owned which are in the Rawalpindi
and peshawar. In pakistan nearly 3,000 people who were doing there work
constantly in the last two years . The pakistan company of Coca-Cola invested over
$130 million ( U.S) . After arriving in pakistan Cola-Cola bottles and distributed it via
independent franchises. In 1963 Coca-Cola took the initiate to consodilate and
acquire all the bottling plants and operate then under the own supervision. The
acquistion process was completed in 2006. Cola-Cola bevrages pakistan limited
(CCBPL) are the only organization who is only responsible for the bottles and
distributed the Coca-Cola production across the pakistan. They ensure that there
product quality are delivered to the customer .
6 bottling plants and 13 warehouses which is operating across the pakistan in 2013
.
PEPSICO IN PAKISTAN :-
In 1979 Pepsi Cola International offered the pepsi franchise to pakistan
beverages limited . Within the 5 years of acquiring the franchise of pepsi . Pakistan
Beverages Limited which Is succeeded in replicating to its previous business sucess in the
beverage market by becoming the markt leader in softdrinks in karachi and then later in
Hyderabad . In 1959 Pepsi cola was introduced in pakistan due to the lack of the
awareness and it was unsuccesfull therefore their headquarters decided to windup their
business in pakistan. In pakistan the market is surely dominated by the pepsi . Itself it is
proved that in pakistan the soft drink is the No.1 drink. Now a days pepsi was recognized
by the national drink. The pepsi first plant was constructed in the multan in 1971 and from
their it goes the higher. Pepsi is the choice of everyone. it is used by all the age groups only
because of its taste. Pepsi has been declared as the most wanted soft drink in pakistan.
