Impact of Parent-Child
Conflict to the Classroom
Performance of Selected
Grade 10 Students
 Forour research team we chose this
topic because we seems our team
interested and it is different to the
other research study. And we want
also to know the impact of having a
conflict between parents and child to
the classroom performance/their
behavior in the classroom
performance.

associated with different school problems.
This works are related on
our own work because
this studies and literature
talks about the impact of
parent-child conflict to
classroom performance
On this study we collect data, study design,
sampling frame and procedure of
respondent’s selection. In this research we
used to diagnose and examine the impact
of parent-child conflict to classroom
performance.
We do the following:
•gather the needed information for this
study.
•the researchers utilized a questionnaire
types of descriptive research method
RESEARCH DESIGN
 The descriptive research method used in
gathering the needed information for this study.
This method enables the researchers to interpret
the theoretical meaning of the findings
development for further studies. Specifically the
researchers utilized a questionnaire types of
descriptive research method which enables the
researchers to gather information from the
respondents without the respondents having any
difficulties in answering the questions required for
the researchers to have information regarding the
impact of parent-child conflict to classroom
performance.
SOURCE OF THE DATA
The data is composed of selected
Pinagbuhatan High School Grade 10
Students that are determined using the
formula which is:
Slovin’s Formula: n= N/1-Ne2 (use e= 0.05)
Formula 1: Sample Size Computation
Where: n = Sample size
N = population
e = precision level
• Many respondents said
that they still motivated
to attend their class even
there's conflict between
them and their parents.
• Some of the respondents
said that having a conflict
with their parents does
not lead into serious
distraction at school.
• Respondents feel
positive even they
facing parent-child
conflict.

Their Parents
 The graph above shows that out of two-
hundred thirteen (213) respondents, one
hundred thirty-one (131) Grade 10
Students said that their good mood in

with their parents while eighty-two (82)
respondents said that do not. These data

Frequency Distribution of Selected Grade 10 Students
on whether they are Attending Their Class Even There’s

 The graph above shows that out of two
hundred thirteen (213) respondents, one
hundred seventy-four (174) Grade 10
Students said that they are attending their
class even there’s conflict between them
and their parents, and thirty-nine (39)
respondents said that they are not. These
data prove that parent-child conflict does

Majority of them still attending classes
even there's conflict between them and
their parents.

 The graph above shows that out of two
hundred thirteen (213) respondents, one
hundred seventeen (117) Grade 10 Students
said that attending class relieves their stress in
facing parent-child conflict, and ninety-six (96)
respondents said that attending class does not
relieve their stress.
 These data prove that even they are facing a
family conflict, the students are still attending
their class, which can relieve their stress.
Majority of them still feel better despite of
having parent-child conflict.

FIGURE 5
 The graph above shows that out of two
hundred thirteen (213) respondents, one
hundred sixty-three (163) Grade 10
Students said that they prefer going to
school even they have conflict with their
parents while fifty respondents (50) said
do not prefer going to.
 These data prove that even they have
