God made the calling for a special purpose

• He called Moses and revealed himself as The Great I am.

• He called David as young shepherd and as Israel’s king
• He called Peter and demonstrated how the Holy Spirit
would empower the people
• He called Paul to preached the gospel to the
Gentile nation.
• He called Abram – the exalted father and now
ABRAHAM
Father of Multitudes – revealed himself as Lord
Almighty Provider, who wants to bless all the peoples
of the world through
His people.

1. God will give Abraham many descendants

• Abraham- Sarah-Isaac-Esau- Jacob
• Abraham- Ketura- 6 anak

Tulad nang nangyari kay Abraham,
sumampalataya siya sa Diyos at dahil dito, siya’y
itinuring ng Diyos na matuwid. Kung gayon
maliwanag na ang Nananalig sa Diyos
ang mga tunay na anak ni Abraham.
2. They will possesed the promised land
But possession of the promised land was based on
conquering the enemy who resided on the land
through relying on the mighty works of God.
 Pahayag 21:
Pagkatapos nito nakita ko ang isang bagong langit at
isang bagong lupa, wala na rin ang dagat. At nakita ko
ang banal na Lungsod, ang bagong Jerusalem na
bumababa mula sa langit buhat sa Diyos. Narinig ko
ang isang malakas na tinig mula sa trono.
Tingnan ninyo ang tahanan ng Diyos ay nasa piling na
nang mga tao.
3. God will be their God and they are his
people
Genesis 12:1 – Lisanin mo ang iyong bayan ang
tahanan ng iyong ama at mga kamag anak.
Isaias:46:4 – Ako ang inyong Diyos,iingatan
ko kayo hanggang sa pumuti ang inyon
buhok. Kayo’nilikha ko kaya’t
tungkulin ko na kayo’y iligtas at ingatan.
 Jeremias 9:23-24
Ang sabi ni Yawhe. Huwag ipagmayabang ng matatalino ang
kanyang karunungan
O ng malakas ang lakas na kanyang taglay
Ni ng mayaman ang kanyang kayamanan
Kung may nais magmalaki
Ang ipagmalaki niya’y ang pagkakila’t pagkaunawa sa akin
Sapagkat ang aking pag-ibig ay hindi nagbabago
Makatarungan at matuwid ang mga ginagawa ko.
Ito ang mga bagay na nais ko.

Ako ang mabuting pastol. Kung paanong kilala
ako ng Ama
At siya’y kilala ko, gayundin naman kilala ko ang
aking mga tupa at ako’y kilala nila.

The blessing is salvation through Faith in Jesus
Christ, a descendant of Abraham.

1. Obedient heart
2. Worshipful attitude
3. Listening ear
4. Prayerful hands
5. Feet always ready to bring the
Good news of salvation.
 Abraham’s faith is certainly not perfect, not
always strong. Yet at the crucial times, he takes
God at his word and believes his promise. The
key is not the strength or perfection of
Abraham’s faith but the strength and
perfection of the God he trust. Abraham learns
that God is reliable and faithful to his word.
