Definition of pull buoys

 A figure-eight shaped piece of closed-


cell foam used in swim workouts. Place
the buoy between the thighs or their
ankles to provide support to the body
without kicking their legs ; this allows the
swimmer to focus on training only their
arms and developing both endurance
and upper body strength.
Purpose of pull buoys
 The pull buoy is basic piece of
swimming equipment used to improve a
swimmer’s power. A buoy is typically
held between thigh to float the hips and
legs at the surface of water.
