REMOTE SPEED CONTROL BY

THYRISTOR TRIGGER ANGLE CHANGE

WITH DISPLAY OF DELAYED FIRING
ANGLE

FINAL YEAR PROJECT(ECE) 2015-16. GROUP = LATERAL .

ABSTRACT

• The main scope of project is to control the

induction motor speed by using IR remote
• The microcontroller does the above job it receives
the signals from the sensors, and this signals
operated under the control of software, which is
stored in ROM
PROCEDURE

• microcontroller which reads the coded data from the

remote for each button pressed to activate the
corresponding output pin to change the time delay for the
thyristor firing in 8 steps that drives the induction motor.

DC- MOTOR

A DC motor is an electric motor that runs on

direct current (DC) electricity. In any electric
motor, operation is based on simple
electromagnetism.
