FCE Speaking Part 2

What is it?

In the second part of the


speaking exam the examiner
will ask you to compare two
photos and will expect you to
use comparatives, superlatives
and other grammatical
structures to give your opinion
on what you see.
How long is it?

This part lasts 4 minutes and you


are expected to take turns
speaking.
But what do I say?

 The second part of the speaking


test lasts for a total of 4 minutes
approximately and will test your
ability to compare two images
and answer the question that is
given to you.
 It is important you follow a very
specific structure when doing
this section of the exam.

photos. They show people who have just moved
into new flats.
 I’d like you to compare the photographs and tell me
the advantages and disadvantages of living
alone or with other people.

Extra Tips.
