Do’s
1. Do repeat your instructions.
2. Do animate your delivery of the stories or talks.
Change your voice or Use hand gestures.
3. Do appreciate the efforts of the kids in doing the
activity.
4. Do enjoy.
Don’ts
1. Do not come unprepared.
2. Do not promise something to the kids if you do not
mean it.
3. Do not exaggerate words as to create confusion to
the kids.
4. Do not tolerate not wholesome songs or dances
that is against our teachings.
5. Do not threaten the kids.
WORKSHOP PROPER
Dynamics
Speaker will announce the groupings for the workshop. As much as
possible, try to put together those from different areas so that they
get to know one another.
The group will do a Mock Kids assembly. One group will act as the
facilitators of an assembly, the remaining teams will act as the
participants for the assembly. The group will use the activities that
they made during the workshop of Designing KFC activities.
The groups who will act as participants will be briefed to act as kids
who are shy, stubborn, un participative..etc..
A total of 30 minutes will be given to the group.
Speaker should give out feedback on how the group handled the
assembly and how they handled different sorts of kids and different
situations that may happen in the kids assembly.
