NA Conversion Deemed conversion to NA on payment of 10% of the basic value of the land.
T&D Charges Waiver Waived for only Captive Users within the state.
Banking Energy 100% banking adjusted @2% of energy delivered. Unutilized energy purchased @ APPC tariff.
Electricity Duty Waived for sale to DISCOM/Third Party/Captive Use
Cross Subsidy Surcharge 100% exemption for five years since CoD
Grid Evacuation Developer's responsibility to get PE and Supervision charges waved.
Gram Panchayat fee INR 25K/acre to be paid to Gram Panchayat as development charges for the land acquisition.
VAT Exemption 100% refund of VAT/SGST for all inputs required for solar power plants for a period of 5 yrs
Stamp Duty Exemption 100% exemption from payment of Stamp Duty for purchase of land for SPPs
PCB Clearance SPPs being a part of green energy will be given clearance with in a week by TSPCB.
Factories Act SPPs will be registered as factories and the process shall be completed within a week.

SINGLE WINDOW MECHANISM FOR SOLAR POWER PROJECTS:

Single point contact

for all clearances

Pre conditions to apply for TS iPASS

1. Technical Feasibility for PE in case Captive sale.
2. PPA signing in case DISCOM/3rd party sale.

I. Solar Policy Cell under TS-iPASS will act as the single window clearance for all approvals.
II. Transaction fee Rs. 10,000/MW with max of Rs. 2 L per project is charged.
III. TS-iPASS will receive necessary application from SPPs & and disburse them to the relevant
departments and process to issue all the required clearance.
IV. TS-iPASS cell to hand over documents specifically related to Energy Department (TSDISCOMS/
TSTRANSCO and CEIG) to SPC/TSSPDCL, for further processing of clearances.
