SANGIRAN MUSEUM
 IN SCHOOL
 Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Welcome
in vocational high school 6 Surakarta. And I
will introduce my self, my name is Ms.Sintiya
Avita Risti, you can call me Ms. Santiya, I am
here as city guide from Krista Tour &Travel.
After this your belonging, we will take the bus
slowly and keep head and still be careful
follow me.
 IN THE BUS
 Before we the trip, we should pray first__

 In connection with the visiting place later .
And because we are in Surakarta city, I will
tell a brief history of Surakarta city.
 ON BOARD OF SURAKARTA CITY
 The city of Surakarta was originally the territory of the mataram
kingdom. The city has even been the center mataram goverment.

 SRAGEN CITY
 Now that we have entered the Sragen city area. You

other museum

museum and not far from sangiran museum.
 Here is also a view tower. from the tower, we can see
the whole sangiran museum from a distance on
various other sight. We are arrive in sangiran museum.

 SANGIRAN MUSEUM
 Sangiran museum is ancient human archeological
site that is in Indonesian and is the most complete
in Asia. This museum located in Sragen, Central
Java.
 This sangiran museum provides the most
complete information about the history of ancient
human life including, patterns of life, animals
that live in their times, and until the process of
accurrence of landscape in no less than 2million
years ago.
 In 1977, the government was determined by the
minister of education and culture of Indonesian
as a culture preserve. And in 1996 sangiran was
list in the UNESCO Heritage site as “WORLD
HERITAGE” this museum also has a motto that
is “The Homeland Of Javaman.”

 This room themed about sangria wealth. In this room
we can see various collection of animal fossils, such as:
crocodile, tiger, buffalo, turtle and elephant.
 Elephant in ancient time were dived into 3, namely:
 Mastodon : mastodon is the most primitive type of
elephant
 Stegodon trigonocephalpus : it’s the most abundant
type of elephant found in the wind.
 Elephas : it’s the most modern type of elephant, is the
third generation of ancient elephants.

 In showroom 2
 This room themed of humanitarian measures. in here we
can see some earth expert and archeology displayed in
this room. About various opinions on the formation of
the earth and the universe.
 This room has many diarom found by one the world’s
research, Von Koenigswald. The skull of sangiran or the
pithecanthropus erectus.
 And here are a lot of theories about change, if all
modern humans come from homo erectus which evolved
into homo sapiens in Africa and then spread throughout
the world.

 Showroom 3
 This space the themed the golden age homo
erectus-500.000 years ago.
 This room contains a replica of the life of homo
erectus species that is carrying out daily activities
in that era.
