CUBAO, QUEZON CITY
With over 50 trick art murals painted by a team of 18 Korean
master painters, Art Island lets you experience a
multidimensional adventure. More than just paintings, they give
guests a certain illusion from a specific angle, making it a perfect
backdrop for your photos.
A typical museum lets you appreciate art within a few meters to
avoid any contact with the masterpiece. However, a trip to a one
of a kind museum in Cubao, Quezon City will make your fantasies
come alive. Art in Island is an interactive museum that lets you be
a part of the artwork. All you need to bring is your smartphone or
camera and with just a snap away, the paintings will come to life!

Note: This museum is one of the example of installation art


PAHIYAS MUSEUM AND ART CENTER
LUCBAN, QUEZON
Fernando Cadeliña Nañawa (or Nanding as he is popularly known) is a
prominent and talented Lucbanin artists, studied Fine Arts at the
University of the Philippines, has received many awards from local and
international organizations for various youth, civic, arts, tourism and
cultural programs he organized. His contributions to the town of Lucban
remains unsurpassed up to this day, particularly of being the organizer,
the prime mover of the many events and programs that led to the
popularity of the Pahiyas Festival.
SAN MIGUEL CORPORATION
ORTIGAS AVE. QUEZON CITY
Designed by the Mañosa brothers (Manuel, Francisco,
and Jose), the San Miguel Corporation Building
in Ortigas serves as the head office of one of the
largest corporations in the Philippines. The building’s
unique design is inspired by the Banaue rice terraces.
Landscaping is done by the National Artist for
Architecture in 2006, Ildefonso Santos, who is
considered the father of Philippine landscape
architecture.
QUEZON HALL – UNIVERSITY OF
THE PHILIPPINES DILIMAN
Designed by Juan Nakpil, the first architect to receive
the National Artist award in 1973, Quezon Hall houses
the administrative offices of the university located in
Diliman, Quezon City. Constructed in the 1950s, the
building sports an eclectic style, combining different
styles into one structure. The same style is used for the
university’s main library, also designed by Nakpil.
BLANC GALLERY
145 KATIPUNAN AVENUE, QUEZON
The abundance of white space is one of the striking things
about Blanc Gallery. Founded in 2006, it puts the spotlight on
emerging Filipino artists who bring life to the whitewashed
walls of its three exhibit spaces. It has, in the past,
hosted Jaime Pacena II's Altar, a display of mixed-media
pieces; Allan Balisi's Five Paintings, which gives a different
spin to the artist's black-and-white style; and Mideo M.
Cruz's Cyborg Republic, which features assemblages
composed of industrial materials.

Ngiti Arte Palakpak (GANAP QCPU) from the
Quezon City Polytechnic University, the
youngest (in terms of establishment) and
smallest choir with only 20 singers bagged
three silver diplomas during the 5th Singapore
International Choral Festival 2018 (SICF 2018)
held last July 19 to 22, 2018.

NEW FRONTIER THEATER
CUBAO QUEZON CITY
• The theater was renamed "Kia Theatre" after the Araneta Group signed a
five-year licensing deal with Columbian Autocar Corporation, the Philippine
distributor for Kia Motors until 2018, on July 15, 2015.The theater reopened on
August 15, 2015 with the staging of the musical, MLQ: Ang Buhay ni Manuel
Luis Quezon.The first commercial show of the theater upon its reopening was
The Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival which ran from September 1 to 6.
