• Sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without
compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their needs.
• There are 3 types of sustainability:
 Economic sustainability
 Environmental sustainability
 Social sustainability
 Economic sustainability
• Economic sustainability refers to practices that support long-term economic
growth without negatively impacting social, environmental and cultural
aspects of the community.
