    more densely or with a darker shade for darker
    areas.

     Basic
    outlining- the line by which the figure or
    object is defined.
    IMPORTANCE OF BASIC SKETCHING
     Sketching is a powerful process to use because
    it always helps discover the best ideas and
    solutions to a design problem. It is a difficult
    task to 'freestyle' a complex design out of midair
    without hashing out the details. This is why
    sketching will remain an important step in the
    design and development process.

    TIPS IN BASIC SKETCHING
     Avoid unnecessary repeating strokes to keep your
    illustration neat
     Use scrap paper to keep the side of your hand clean
     Avoid smudging the graphite. Instead, use pressure
    control.
     Draw using your whole arm instead of tiring your
    wrist. Using your whole arm give your strokes more
    freedom and ease.
