• HISTORY
The term multimedia was coined
by singer and artist Bobb Goldstein in 1966.
Goldstein came up with the term to describe the
technical nature of his entertainment.
• The term multimedia has taken almost
40 years to have coherent meaning
• Example:

Any computer-delivered electronic system that allows
user to control, combine, and manipulate different
types of media, such as text, sound, video, computer
graphics and animation.
