Local Communities
Is term often used to denote a geographically bounded community such as
a territorial enclave, village, baranagay, town, city, municipality, province, region
or even an entire country depending on the point of reference.
Global Communities
Is the term used to characterize the interconnectivity of people of
countries all over the world.
Community Service
Refer to the subdivisions of society the represent clusters of social
institutions according to their social-economic and political function.

For-Benefit Sectors
Public Sector
Is the term used to denote the government and it’s agencies. This sector is
responsible in promoting common good providing security from external treats
and maintaining peace.
Private Sector
Is used to refer to bussinesses and enterprises which are responsible for
producting goods and service to meet people’s needs and wants promoting
economic growth and generating wealth.
Voluntary Sector
Non-profit organization.
Is a term usually reserved for NGO’s, faith base organizations, or civil
society organization that promote the development of the full potential of
human beings and safeguard there human rights and pursue socio-civic process
causes for the good of humanity and the environment.
For-Benefit Sector
Also known as for-benefit corporation.
Is a hybrid merger of the characteristic found in public and private sector.
Social Space
Is geographical or virtual community where people gather or network with
one another due to common interest.
