MEGA STRUCTURE – RIO ANITIRIO BRIDGE

INTRODUCTION:

The RION-ANTIRION Bridge is located over the Gulf of Corinth, Western Greece,
and is one of the world's longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges.
DECK :
•The deck of the main bridge is continuous and
fully suspended by means of stay cables for its
total length of 2,252 meters.
•The deck is connected to each pylon with 4
damping devices.
•The capacity of each device will be in the range
of 3,500 KN capacity each and horizontal
metallic of 10000 K N capacity.
