INTRODUCTION
 Avery-large-scale integration capable of extracting motion features from
moving images in real time has been developed employing row-parallel and
pixel-parallel architectures based on the digital pixel sensor technology

 Real -time motion recognition is becoming increasingly important in various

applications, such as automotive vehicle control, efficient human–computer
interaction ,video surveillance , remote gesture control, sign language
interpretation , surgery support.
VLSI TECHNOLOGY

 IT is the part of semiconductor and communication technologies

 It is integrated circuits on a single chip
 It provides computational speed with minimum power dissipation and
circuit board area
 this technique provides less area/volume
 less testing requirements
 less power consumption
 higher reliability due to improved on-chip interconnects
 higher speed
 due to significant cost savings.

APPLICATIONS :

 high-speed image processing employing

 high-frame-rate image sensors

 counting objects flowing rapidly on the line

 microorganisms observation under microscope

 object regrasping using a robot hand

 Big industries in counting purposes

CONCLUSION

 A self-speed-adaptive MFE VLSI Has been developed and implemented in a

standard 65-nm CMOS an object detecting system that can localize images
of target objects allowing the row-parallel processing MFE module has been
developed for fully pixel-parallel feature extraction.
