• They don’t get a proper fit healthy garment.

• The product range of Ayurvastra is very limited.
• Allergic on some colors.
• Large use of chemicals in the Textile industry.

HERBAL DYEING
Turmeric Dyeing

• RFD (Ready for dyeing) process.

• Add soap nut and ash water.
• Myrobalan, Pomegranate powder,
Turmeric mixture.
• The fabric is dipped into it and boiled
for half an hour to fix the color on the
fabric.
• Soap nut solution
• Washing the fabric twice.
Neem Dyeing
• Neem leaves , Bark ,
Madder(Manjista), Myrobalan.
• Preparing the kashayam and then
dipping the fabric into it for 2 hours.

 CONCLUSION
• Ayurvastra is an eco friendly fabric which provides a healthy living.
This fabric is truly chemical- free.
• Developing new designs in ayurvastra can increase its product range
as well as awareness among the Indian people.
• It is effective to give relief from the common skin problems of
pregnancy.
• Increase business of handloom sector that results in a stable
economy providing a livelihood for hundreds of people.
Thus, Ayurvastra direct us to a new way of living a natural, healthy
and a disease free life.
