Why?

• Opportune time with new economic development projects


– Economic Opportunity Act Projects such as Subaru of America,
Knights Crossing, Liberty Property Trust, 76ers
• Benjamin Franklin Bridge pedestrian/bicycle ramp expected
completion in 2018
– Will create a better bike/pedestrian/ADA connection from
Camden to Philadelphia
• 2016 TIGER Grant for infrastructure improvements in
downtown and North Camden coinciding with former
prison site redevelopment
• Camden County Cross County Trail study recently
completed

as part of the Circuit Trails network
• Identify priorities amongst existing plans
