• the auditorium is a part of terna college.
• its capacity is 496
• the auditorium is used for:
• seminars.
• lectures.
• examinations.
• performances.
• the auditorium is used by the students and staff of terna
Sahyadri college.
• It has 3 access points:
1. main entrance
2. rear entrance
3. VIP/handicapped entrance

 parking
parking area for 65 cars for the auditorium
only. (yet to be developed)

•there is no separate security cabin for the auditorium.

Auditorium includes following

CEALING PLAN

• there are total 28 ac vents in whole


auditorium.
• 1 and ½ tone - 2 ac for stage
• 22 tone -3 ac for seating area

• the lights use in the cealings for the


seating areas are led lights
• the spot lights are use for the stage area

• Air return grills are provided throught the periphery


of an auditorium.
• Return air duct on the wall is 150 mm wide.
• Return air grill is laso 150 mm wide.
• sound:
there are 6 speakers fitted on the column of 400 watt
each.

acp (aluminum composite panel) cladding. this is done for
acoustical purpose

ACCOUSTICS:

• The auditorium has

which consists of armstrong
and gypsum filling.
• Armstrong-slope
• Gypsum-flat
Gypsum is use as absorber
Armstrong is use as reflector
• There are total eight
columns in the auditorium
which have acp cladding.
This is done for acoustical
purpose.
MATERIAL:

covered with wall fabric

with two material one
is mdf panelling and
other is wall cladding

CATWALK:

• a catwalk is an elevated service platform from


which many of the technical functions of a theater,
such as lighting and sound, may be manipulated.
• typically, catwalks are located in positions hidden
from audience view or directly above an audience.
• catwalks are used to:
1. suspend lighting instruments and microphones
directed at the stage.
2. 2. the catwalks provide easy access for theater
personnel to perform common tasks. for
example lights may need to be accessed for
maintenance, position adjustment, can easily be
done using catwalk.
