1.Questionnaires and
Checklist

• To easily or quickly get as much


data and information from your
respondents/participants.
Questionnaire

Consists of series of questions usually


followed by three to five indicators with
corresponding numerical equivalent to
facilitate analysis and interpretation of
responses.
Checklist

Contains a list of variables or


characteristics about a particular situation
or event where respondents are usually
asked to just put a check mark opposite the
variable that corresponds to the kind of
data being sought in the checklist.
Interviews
•A very good way of accessing people’s perceptions,
meanings, definitions of situations and constructions
of reality (Punch, 2015).
•Usually done on a one-on-one or face-to-face
situations in which an individual asks questions to
which a second individual answers or responds. When
opportunities are less auspicious, interviews may be
done though telephone or through the internet (
Sutton,2011).
