ASSIGNMENT- 1
Counting cents and pennies with fear
Love so full just like her eyes with tears
“What do I gift my Jim? He is so near”
Fitting for his watch which is so very dear.
Two things endeared at James Dillingham Youngs,
Gold watch, Della’s hair- their beauty sung.
Depreciate the supreme of the world,
Their worth would have never curled.
Brown, luscious and long
Her silhouette, beautiful and strong
Naming a price would never do justice
Her heart and body ‘Just trust us’
Running down the streets
Indescribable feelings- never a treat,
Platinum fob chain for the brown waters
Simple, him and her, autre.
Flustered with cheeks gone red,
‘My beauty, my love’ thoughts in her head,
Knock on the door with sear on the stove
Praying to God like a sweet little dove.
Dismayed, not by the looks,
A package on the books,
Combs shined bright in their gleam,
Like oceans and pearls, exactly her dream.
Wailed and cradled in his arms,
Displayed her delicate charm,
A grin sweeping on his face,
Both have lost in this race.

Sacrifice is not easy,

That’s the requisite of love,
Jubilation? Magis hoped to achieve,
Contentment is all they got.
