SCADA System at TATA Power-DDL is TATA Power-DDL is one of the first utilities in Integrated Web Services for Mobile

SMART METERS

TATA Power-DDL is installing SMART METERS for all its


consumers. It is based on RF Based communication.

The data shall be monitored through the Meter Data


Management System and will be integrated with SAP.

TATA Power-DDL is one of the first Indian Power Utilities to


launch Auto Demand Response (ADR) project with Smart meter
in India

SOLAR ROOFTOP

TATA Power-DDL, till date, has set up 15 Grid Connected


Solar Plants adding to 14.74 MWp solar installation, with a
total capacity of 1.69 MW, in its own premises.

Micro-grid Project in Bihar

TATA Power-DDL partnered with Massachusetts Institute of


Technology, Center for Energy and Environmental Policy
Research and Tata Trust for developing 2 Micro grids in rural
areas of Bihar.

BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM

TATA Power-DDL has installed South Asia’s First 10 MW Battery


Energy Storage System (BESS) at Rohini Grid-24 to provide better
peak load management, system flexibility and reliability to more
than 2 million consumers.

This was done in collaboration with AES and Mitsubishi Corporation.
