 Entecavir is more efficient than an older Hepatitis B drug,
lamivudine.

Dosage & Administration
 Cavir should be administered on an empty stomach (at least 2

hours after a meal or 2 hours before the next meal).


 Nucleoside-treatment-naive (16 years): 0.5 mg once daily.

resistance mutations (16 years): 1 mg once daily.
