Crow and Peacock
Once, long ago, the crow and the peacock were good friends. Everyday they would go out
together to work or to play. Now in those days the crow and the peacock both had plain white
feathers. One day they were playing in a field of brightly colored flowers. "Look, friend Peacock.
Don't you wish we wore bright colors like those flowers?“
"I think that would be wonderful, friend Crow. I am tired of these plain white feathers.“ Then
crow had an idea. "Why don't we paint ourselves? I can paint your feathers and you can paint mine!“
The peacock agreed. So the next day Crow began to paint Peacock's feathers. He used the most
beautiful colors. He painted peacock's breast and head a magnificent blue.
On peacock's tail feathers he drew elaborate designs. He created large rainbow spots like
brilliant eyes on peacock's tail. Crow spent many hours painting his friend. When he was finished,
Peacock spread his tail feathers and began to strut around. He wanted to go and show everyone his
beautiful feathers. "Now it is your turn to paint me," said Crow. But Peacock did not want to waste
time drawing designs on Crow. He simply took a pot of black ink and poured it over crow's head.
"There you are. That should do."And the proud Peacock strutted off to show his feathers to the world.
So today the crow is all plain. And even though Peacock is beautiful, It is clear that he is too proud for
his own good.

stay any longer to the lake. It finally walked to the ground. But that day was unlucky day for that crocodile. After
getting at the bank of the lake suddenly there was a big branch of the tree falling upon its neck. The crocodile could
not move at all. Not long after the falling branch, finally there was a buffalo coming to the lake to drink.
The buffalo saw the crocodile and the buffalo was afraid and would leave that lake soon. But the crocodile
asked it sadly to help. The buffalo felt sad about it and decided to help the crocodile. But after helping the crocodile,

for any other animal near it. Kancil that was at the way to go to the Lake heard the buffalo’s voice. Kancil run quickly
to see what had happened to the buffalo. Near the lake, kancil saw the buffalo and the crocodile. Kancil asked: “what
happened?” And the buffalo answered: “the crocodile bite my leg after I help to remove the big branch from its neck”.
The crocodile also said: “I’m hungry and you are at my territory, therefore I bit you poor buffalo.” The crocodile
laughed at the buffalo. Kancil said to buffalo, “It is impossible you had helped the crocodile, thus the crocodile had the
right to bite you.” The buffalo said, “I’m not telling a lie. I can prove it.”Kancil said, “I believe that crocodile is right, but
then you can try to prove your telling. But first crocodile must release your bite, okay?” Crocodile said, “Okay, it is easy,
but after that I will eat the buffalo.” Kancil said, “Okay, deal.” The buffalo laid the big branch at the former position,
upon the crocodile’s neck.
After that suddenly kancil said, “Lets run buffalo, lets run!” The buffalo and kancil run as fast as possible and

Ants
Ants are a type of insect with the family Formicidae. Ants have more than 12,000
species, most of which live in the tropics. But some types of ants that are well known to
humans are black ants, Carpenter ants, red ants, fire ants, and Weaver ants.
Most ants are known as social insects, because they form colonies and their
regular nests have thousands of ants per colony. One colony can control a large area to
support their lives. Colony members are divided into worker ants, male ants and queen
ant. It is also possible to have guard ant group. The queen ant is in charge of reproducing
(producing eggs) and is highly upheld by the members. The queen ant can live up to 20
years old. All worker ants are females, but they do not produce eggs. They devote
themselves to taking care of the eggs of the queen. The most important thing workers ant
job is to serve the queen and ensure that the queen and her “babies” are safe. In contrast
to the Queen with her long age to live, male ants hav shorter life. Their only duty when
they are adults is to marry the young ant queen. Male ants usually die 2 weeks after
marrying the ant queen.

Lembah Pelangi Waterfall
Lembah Pelangi Waterfall sounds unfamiliar for either local or foreign tourists.

has two branches. The height of the first level waterfall is about 100 meters, while the
second level waterfall is about dozens of meters. The best enchantment of this waterfall
is the rainbow which appears between the valley and the waterfall as the name suggests.
The soft flowing gurgling waterfall sounds is like a chant of nature which can remove the
tiredness of the long trip to go there. Under the waterfall, there are several spots of warm
water which can be an interesting spot for bathing. In this place, you will be shown a
panorama of natural beauty which is very interesting for every pair of eyes seeing it.
