Specific:
To mass produce Trichogramma evanescence and Earwig
Euborella annulata for the control of corn borer and other
lepidopteros insects
To promote the use of bio-control agents as alternative to
insecticides that could increase corn yield production to
atleast 350kg/ha
It is a wasp (an egg
parasite) which depend on
insects egg of sufficient size
to complete their larval and
pupal development.
Trichogramma is released twice in
the field.
Economical
Put about 3-4 cm soil
and corn cob inside a
plastic container and
release 12 female and
4 male adult earwig.

Release earwig late in
