 It is the largest consulting firm in the world and is a Fortune Global 500
company
 It was established in 1989 as Anderson Consulting and later on in 2001 it
was renamed as Accenture.
 Its headquarter is in Dublin, Ireland.

 Pierre Nanterme was a French business executive. He was the chairman
and CEO of Accenture.
 Rekha M.Menon is the chairman and senior managing director at
Accenture.
 It is the top level position in Accenture corporate hierarchy.
 This position is not easy to climb upon as it needs years of experience in
the company or in the similar field of consulting and outsourcing.
 The main job of the associate is to collect clients and deliver solutions
 The position which comes next on the ladder of the company career
hierarchy is that of the senior managers.
 A person must work mainly in sales for about 7 years to get into the
position.
 Senior managers are responsible for client interaction and leading project
teams.
 After senior managers, the next positions on the pyramid is that of the
managers.
 A manager must possess 5-7 years of experience and is responsible for the
management of sales and others projects
 He leads small project teams and sees to it that results are delivered on time
and within the specific budget constraints
 At Accenture, the positions which comes below the position of managers is
that of a senior consultant who are very valuable to the project workings
and client communications.
 Every consultants atleast 3 years of experience as an analyst to come this
position.
 A consultant works under the senior consultant or manager and looks after
smooth functioning of day to day activities.
 The entry level position in a Accenture is referred to as analysts position.
 This is the position which is mostly given to undergraduate or fresh-
graduate with no experience.
 Analysts takes orders from managers or consultants and complete day to
day analysis tasks.
 They must work on research, presentation and training for atleast 2-3 years
to be promoted to the next level.
