HUMAN DIGNITY
“God created man (human
person) in his own image; in
the image of God, He created
him; male and female*
created He them.”
(Genesis 1:27)
“There is neither Jew nor
Greek, there is neither bond
nor free, there is neither male
nor female*: for you are ALL
ONE in Christ Jesus”
(Galatians 3:28).
COMMON GOOD
“To each person is
given the gifts of the
Spirit for the common
good”
(cf. 1 Corinthians 12:7)
SOLIDARITY
“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body,
whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be
slave or free; and have been all made to drink into
one Spirit. God has arranged the body…so that
each part may be equally concerned for all the
others. If one part is hurt, all parts are hurt with it”
(I Corinthians 12:13,24-26)

“You are well aware of the generosity which our Lord

Jesus Christ had, that, although he was rich, he
became poor for your sake so that you should become
rich through his poverty. It is not that you ought to
relieve other people’s needs and leave yourselves in
hardship; but there should be a fair balance – your
surplus at present may fill their deficit, and another
time their surplus may fill your deficit”
(2 Corinthians 8: 9,13-14)
“For as in one body we have MANY
PARTS, and all the parts do not have the
same function, so too, we though many,
are ONE BODY in Christ and individually
PARTS OF ONE ANOTHER.”
(Romans 12: 4-5)

“Nor is the body to be identified with one

of its many parts. Now you together are
Christ’s body; but each of you is a
different part of it.” (1 Cor. 12: 14, 27)
