The Centre for Development of Advanced


Computing (C-DAC) is an Autonomous
Scientific Society of Ministry of Electronics
and Information Technology, Government of
India. The National Centre for Software
Technology (NCST), ER&DCI and CEDTI were
merged into C-DAC in 2003

Department has organized industrial


visit to CDAC Bengaluru in two batches, on
9th October 2018 and 13th November 2018

for pre final year and final year students.


Centre for Development of Advanced
Computing (CDAC) is the premier Research
and Development organization of the
Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology (MeitY) for carrying out R&D in
IT, Electronics and associated
areas. Different areas of C-DAC, had
originated at different times, many of which
came out as a result of identification of
opportunities.

and 18th of June 2019. Which

in recent trends, advances and research results in the field of


Computer and Communication Engineering through technical paper
presentation and poster
presentations. All the

associated journals (IJETT
/ IJCOT / IJCSE / IJECE)
with ISSN and these
journals were indexed in
other reputable
authorities as well.
This Conference was open to Students (undergraduate and post

5nd International conference on “Advances in Computer


& Communication Engineering” ACCE - 2019 was held
on 17th and 18th of June 2019. Which focused and
addressed the key issues in recent trends, advances and
research results in the field of Computer and
Communication Engineering through technical paper

presentation and poster presentations. All the selected


papers were published in Google Scholar indexed
associated journals (IJETT / IJCOT / IJCSE / IJECE) with
ISSN and these journals were indexed in other reputable
authorities as well. This Conference was open to
Students (undergraduate and post graduate), Faculty,
Research Scholars and Scientists.
Machine Learning (ML) workshop

ML workshop was conducted for 3


days from 28th to 30th March 2019. It
was organized by Artificial Intelligence
(AI) club of Vemana IT in association
with SpeckBit. Mr. Vidyadhar Sharma,
Founder of SpeckBit conducted the
workshop. Ml Tools like Jupyter Notebook, Numpy, Pandas and
matplotlib were introduced. Machine learning algorithms for linear
regression, logistic regression, neural network were introduced.

Mrs. Anuradha Sharma


Mrs. Anuradha Sharma, Professor, International School of

Engineering, delivered guest lecture on “Applications of Artificial


Intelligence and Machine learning” on 11 – 02 – 2019 for 6th
semester students. Data science professionals are needed in huge
numbers in health care, retail, IT services, banking etc. Data
science creates new jobs in many fields. Big data is voluminous
data. Google's artificial intelligence can predict the lifespan of a
human being.

Mr. Arun Yokesh


Mr. Arun Yokesh, Software Engineer, INTUIT,
delivered guest lecture on “Kickstart with React JS”
on 16 – 02 – 2019 for 8th semester students.
Front end frameworks makes design and
development of web applications easier. Top
frontend frameworks are Backbone JS, Angular JS,
Vue JS, Ember JS and React JS. React JS is java script
library for UI, it is component based. The main
elements of React JS are Component, State, Props.
Components are reusable, they can be state full or
stateless.

Mr. Sandeep
Mr. Sandeep, Professor, ICAT design media college,
delivered guest lecture on “Graphic designing” on
23 – 02 – 2019 for 8th semester students. Graphic
designing is all about creativity and photo
shopping. Animation is a method in which pictures
are manipulated to appear as moving images. 3D
Max or Autodesk Maya software is used for
animation and animated movies.
Virtual reality (VR) is an interactive computer-generated experience taking place within a
simulated environment. It incorporates mainly auditory and visual feedback, but may
also allow other types of sensory feedback like haptic. This immersive environment can
be similar to the real world.

Dr. Clara Kanmani A


Dr. Clara Kanmani A, Professor, New Horizon College of
Engineering, delivered guest lecture on “Semantic web
technology” on 7 – 03 - 2019 for 6th and 8th semester students.
Semantic is the extension of the current web technology.
Problems in current web are high recall and low precision, results
are sensitive to vocabulary, results are single web pages, only
keyword based searching, inconsistency and a outdated
information removal is a failure, new knowledge extraction is
difficult.
