II. Objectives
1. It helps carry out the legislative body’s objectives effectively
2. It simplifies & systematizes the conduct of business
3. It enables the legislative assembly (Sanggunian) to make fast
& valid decisions
4. It maintains decorum for smooth transaction of business
5. It determines the will of the majority
6. It reconciles conflicting opinions of members
SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE
QUORUM is more than half (5) from among the 9 members who are not
legally or physically impaired from attending the session. The following
are examples of :

measuring the services rendered by a Sangguniang Barangay member
