• Just 3 forceps for all teeth
• Narrow to extract roots
• Medium to extract centrals, canines and
premolars
• Wide to extract molars

one of the most important instrument used in the extraction procedure

• Used to:
• - remove, luxate tooth which cannot be
engaged by forceps
• Remove fractured roots
• Loosen tooth prior to application of forceps
• Remove intraradicular bone
