As we can see in the above figure leading banks are creating smart middleware layer that computes and
process customer’s /business intelligence with state-of-art technologies and interfaces.
Banks needs to open middleware layers and use third party open APIs for seamless integration between third
party apps, web and mobile interface, branches and call centers with the Core Banking System.
While doing this Banks core banking system remains constant and disruption/innovation is happening at the
edge.
