PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
 Pyali is a simple ceramic mug, just like your
coffee mug.
 Itis accompanied by a coaster which
perfectly partners with its operation.
 Keepsyour coffee or tea hot to whatever
temperature you prefer.
 Just set the temperature you love and it will
keep the drink at your temperature to your
last sip no matter the time taken to drink it.
HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE
IDEA?

“As any engineering graduate, one of the best way to complete our syllabus one day
before the exam was a coffee binge on a group study session. This is where we
found our passion for coffee & tea, but the coffee won't remain hot whole night
so we came up with Pyali. Once we decided to establish a hardware start up after
college, it wasn't a difficult decision to make digital kitchenware, like Pyali, as we
inherently wanted to improve a person's eating/drinking experience.”

PRODUCT LIFE

Pyali has a 2-3 year expected life.


It comes with a 1 year warranty.
The company offers a full
replacement of the ceramic mug at
a price of Rs.50.
COMPETITORS
 No such competitors in India

WHAT IS YOUR CORE STRENGTH?

 Unlike some of the products in the market, Pyali has a higher


temperature range, i.e. till 70 degrees, while many products offer a
range of 45-50 degrees.
 This difference is basically the definition of Hot and Warm.
 This is the major advantage as it directly impacts the consumers
drinking experience.
WHAT IS YOUR TARGET MARKET?
 All the cafe's and hotels which serve tea or coffee,
which fortunately for them are every one of them.
 They plan to sell products to dining establishments all
over the country, so that everyone gets an upgrade in
their eating and drinking experience.
 Individual selling seems time consuming so they are
mainly targeting cafes and restaurants.
 People have also given a great response in terms of
gifting purpose.
 Good ‘one time investment’ in a cup.
CONCEPTUALIZATION TIME
“It is the time period between coming up with an idea
or concept and formulating it”

 Came up with the idea in their college days.


 They started in January 2017.
 Didn’t have any office so started working in co-working spaces.
 Current production in Jaipur and Hyderabad
-production in Delhi is expensive
 Assembling in Wazirabad,Delhi.
WHAT MOTIVATED YOU?
 Wanted to be their own masters
 Always wanted to start something new.
 Team Pyali once went to a cafe of a known owner and talked about
their product as to how Pyali could benefit the cafe.
The owner appreciated it a lot and on the spot gave an order for
25 pieces at the rate of ₨.2500 per piece.
Such a positive response on their first order was their biggest
motivation.
WHY CROWD FUNDING AND NOT
INVESTORS?
“Crowd funding is the practice of funding a project
or venture by raising small amounts of money from
a large number of people, typically via the
Internet.”

 Wanted to know the public response


 Due to majority of low income groups, were not sure how the
market will react.
 People do not invest much in hot beverages due to easy
availability of substitutes
WHY HAVEN’T YOU LAUNCHED YOUR
PRODUCT FOR PUBLIC YET?
 Not launched on website, but preorders have started.
 Were not satisfied with the design of the product.
 They have just finalized the product, about to launch
it in a week.
 They have started taking pre-orders, and are getting
a good response.
 Already sold -500 units by personal selling
-85 pre-orders by website
STILL UNSURE ABOUT THE DESIGN?
 Upon our research, we saw that team Pyali were looking for designers so we
asked the same from them.
 Pictures floating around the internet are just a rough overview of the
product.
 The actual product has a beautified electronic hot plate.
 The hot plate also has a USB port to support mobile phone charging.
 The ceramic mug has a sensor which senses the amount of liquid in the mug
and adjusts the temperature.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP OR JOB?

 Regretted only one decision of quitting


their job.
 Would have rather worked along their
jobs than completely quitting.
 Entrepreneurship provides freedom and
authority but a job on the other hand
provides a comparatively stable
livelihood.
TEAM
 The team consists of Sarang Atri, who
PYALI handles our sales and marketing.
 Akash Bhargava, makes our supply
management easy, while also taking part
in product development.
 The technical team is formed by the duo
of Abhyant Rawat and Priyankar Das,
who while holding engineering degrees in
Nuclear Science, have found a passion
for electronics & material science which
helped making the product to life.

BOOO: WAY BACK HOME.
Booo: way back home is an audio controlled mobile game.
Finding home is a game that compels you to experience the
life of a character through your smartphone. Meet BOO, your
very own virtual pet! Enjoy countless hours of fun in this
addictive and the entertaining game brought to you by
Khadga Entertainment.
HOW DID YOU GET THE IDEA?
Every weekend sessions are conducted for innovation and
creativity, to get new ideas.
Booo was developed in the month of october 2017.
Was developed as a tester, one of the prototype.
On receiving prompt responses, got selected in NGDC
Tournament (2017)
PLANS OF INVESTMENT.
Plan is to fill market gaps rather than competing.
Funds requirement is approximately INR 10L per game.
Raising funds through loan would be hardly sufficient for 2 games.
Since there is a huge risk involved, chances of non-repayment of
loan is high as Game Development is not a promising industry nor is
it sustainable.
WHY NOT JOIN AN MNC?
Working as a corporate slave does not provide satisfaction.
Also, placement offers merely offered a package of INR 7-8L
P.a.
As for the entrepreneurs, money is not of strategic importance.
It is mental peace, stress-free life style which is valuable.
However, working hours still vary from 10-12 hours per day.
UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION.

The character BOOO jumps when you say BOOO The intensity of
the input voice can be adjusted Witness the post-apocalypse world
along with BOOO and help it reach home.
Q. How would you define success?
-- Getting 1M downloads.
Q. Do you consider yourself ‘struggling entrepreneurs’?
-- NO because struggling is a very negative word. We may be short
on funds but we are happy doing what we are doing.
Q. How long did it take to develop Boo?
-- 2 and a half months for the basics. Constant updates are done on a
monthly basis.
PIECE OF ADVICE.
Always do more of what makes you happy.
If an entrepreneur manages to successfully run a company, he
would be able to provide employment to 100 other struggling
unemployed and guide 100 other struggling entrepreneurs.
Also, just improve the previous work and focus on the overall
quality of your end results.
KHADGA ENTERTAINMENT
has at present developed 8 other games for android
but has not launched them in the open market due to
inadequate funds.
INR 1 crore (estimated) would be required to launch a
total of 8 games.
However, the company would be launching a new
game by the end of September 2018.
