OBJECTIVE
AT THE END OF THIS MODULE, THE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE;

• To familiarize and be acquainted with the RULES and REGULATIONS


covering and are applicable to Aerodrome and Air Navigation Services
• To recognize and learn about the regulatory and oversight office
within CAAP that has the responsibility of implementing the Civil
Aviation Regulations governing Aerodromes (CAR-Aerodromes)
and Civil Aviation Regulations - Air Navigation Services (CAR-ANS)

Rationale..
AANSOO was created to fulfill CAAP’s
international obligations and responsibilities
in regard to safety oversight of Aerodromes
and Air Navigation Services.
CREATION
Section 33, Chapter VI, R.A. 9497

The Board may agree for the viability for the


creation of additional offices and the finalization
of the organizational structure not later than six (6)
months from the date of the effectivity of this Act.

The Technical and Executive Staff Group shall


comprise of the Aerodrome & Air Navigation Safety
Oversight Office, Executive Staff Office, Internal
Audit Service, Airmen Examination Board and
