• The white shark, also called the great white shark or
the great predator of the seas, belongs to the
Lamnidae family and is present in most of the world's
oceans. It is currently the only surviving species of the
genus Carcharodon. The term "great" is because
throughout their life they never stop growing, so the
older they are, the larger their size.
