Statement of Vision and Mission

* We believe that the family is a creation of God and no

one has any right to change it, it’s structure and it’s
purpose.
* CFC is a creation of God distinctly called to bring
families back to the plan of God.
* CFC is called to bring the Lord’s strength and light to
those struggling to be truly Christian families in the
modern world.
* We believe that God is working powerfully in the world
today, and is moving to accomplish His plan for the
fullness of times, to sum up all things in Christ, in
heaven and on earth. (Eph. 1:10)
Statement of Vision and Mission

* In this task, God calls upon Christian families to be

light and leaven in this world.
* We as Couples for Christ are called to be families in
the Holy Spirit renewing the face of the earth. As
Christian families we are called to grow in holiness and
discipline, so that God can use us as evangelizers and
missionaries in order that He might renew the world.
* We are called to take up the very mission of Jesus in
bringing glad tidings to the poor.We rise up in defense
of the poor and the oppressed. We struggle for peace,
justice and the integrity of creation.
Statement of Vision and Mission

* In submission to God’s will, Couples for Christ commits

in this mission.
*Couples for Christ will serve whenever God brings it to
serve, trusting only in His guidance and power.

How do We Support One
Another in CFC?

Through Households –
Household Prayer Meeting
Through households. All members of CFC
belong to cell groups which we call
"households". At the end of this CLP, if you
make your commitment to CFC, you will be
assigned to a household.
The purpose of a household group is to
have a smaller and more intimate
environment for personal support in the
Christian life, and to provide a means
for encourag¬ing and hastening growth
as a Christian.
A household is composed of from 4 to 7
couples and is headed by a leader couple,
and is set up immediately after the CLP.

The household meets once a week, on

the same day of the week as mutually
agreed on by its members.

The household meetings are held in the

homes of the group members, on rotation
basis from week to week. Holding the
household meetings in our homes has the
following values:
There are basically three ingredients in a
typical household meeting: an extended
period of prayer and worship, a time for
sharing or discussion, and some time for
fellowship.
