WHAT CAUSES A PERSON TO DREAM ?

• The causes of our dreams are merely theories and educated reasoning.

• Dreams were based on the activities that we do all day long which are
combined with our wishes.

• Another interesting aspect of his theory are id, ego and super ego.
• ID- pleasure principle that doesn't understand any kind of norms or
inhibitions.
• Knows no judgements of value

• SUPER EGO - part of unconscious mind that acts as a conscience .

• Compilation of what our parents teach.

• EGO - lies between Id and Super-ego. It is "repressed Id," and it mediates

Id and Super-ego.
• Defensive, perceptual, intellectual-cognitive, and executive functions.
