applications and 9 from engineering.
MEANS AND STD DEVIATIONS ON DIFFERENT VARIABLES OF
MANAGERS AND ENTREPRENEURS
• When performed on entrepreneur vs managers:
ATR : sig value 0.017 Risk Orientation : sig value 0.016

• When anova performed for Entrepreneurs vs potential entrepreneurs vs managers :

LOC : Sig 0.025 Risk Orietation : sig 0.037

RESULTS OF STATISTICAL TESTS FOR ASSESSING
DIFFERENCE IN MEANS BETWEEN TWO SAMPLES

Tests between entrepreneur and manager

• As we can see the confidence level is 95%,so by looking at sig. of all the parameters,’t’ for LOC,ATR and
Risk orientation is less than 0.05 which implies that the means are significantly different.Ultimately, this
signifies that entrepreneurs and managers differ significantly on the basis of LOC,ATR and Risk
Orientation. The tests reveals that on the basis of data given entrepreneurs and managers don’t differ much
on BIG 5 and self efficacy.

ANOVA
• In LOC,sig value was 0.025 which is greater than 0.05 which means there is statistically significant value in our
group and the looking at post hoc table we can see that the significant difference in (I) type 1 and 3.

• In Risk orientation, the sig value was 0.037 which is less than 0.05 which means there is statistically significant
value in our group and then looking at the post hoc table we can see that there the difference exists.

• In ATR,the sig value is 0.057 which is almost equal to 0.05, so there can be a significant difference in the means.

• In the rest the sig value is greater than 0.05,which means not much to differ between the groups.
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS AND
CONCLUSIONS
• T-test done for work ex revealed that there is no significant difference on the paramters.

• Through the anova test done we can see that entrepreneurs, potential entrepreneurs and managers
revealed that they differed on LOC and Risk orientation and a little on the basis of attitude of risk.

• Since the data sample was small the results are not accurate depiction of real world but according to the
analysis done we can see that the entrepreneurs and managers differ significantly on the parameters of
attitude towards risk and risk orientation with entrepreneurs ranking higher.
