Description
“Atcharap ni Bugoy” is a business having
papaya as the primary ingredient. Mainly,
the business will produce a homemade
pickled papaya in a jar. The business name
was created with a touch of humor,
“atcharap” is a combination of the word
“atchara” and “sarap”. On the other hand,
“bugoy” is an exposed hidden nickname of
one of the founders of the business.
During brainstorming, the teasing heated
up the conversation until it came up into a
realization if would it be nicer to accompany
this to the business name. The business is
run by three individuals; Michael Ray B.
Besario as the manager, Jun Ryan M. Lovina
as the bookkeeper and Ma. Kirby Daarol as
the cashier. The business will follow the
special authentic recipe of Mrs. Merlyn B.
Besario. The “atchara” or pickled papaya will
be packed in a 300ml microwave container
with a cost of 50 pesos each.
Business
Objective
• To uplift the status of homemade
products in the community.
• To campaign health and organic
appetizer.
• To sell pickled papaya at low cost and
reasonable price.
• Surpass to commercialize local grown
business.
• Produce products with flavor that is
authentic to the taste of the people.
Business Market
The target market will
include the following:
1. Households
> The atchara will be delivered door-to-door.
Since this is a traditional appetizer, this is
an opportunity for us to adverse. The
pricing of each atchara is reasonable
considering its quantity. Mother’s will be
the best choice to deal with in terms we
happened to deliver in such households.
2. Food Establishments
> School Canteens, Carenderias,
Restaurants, and Food Parks will be the
best choice if we will be able to market
our product to the food establishments.
Considering its commercialized
packaging, the product is suitable for
selling. They can either consume atchara
for their personal needs, food ingredients,
or reselling is also possible.
