(HIP)
OVERVIEW OF THE HIGHLY IMMERSIVE PROGRAMME
(HIP)
The Highly Immersive Programme (HIP) is a programme introduced
under the MBMMBI policy that will improve the English proficiency of
students through increased exposure to English. It also aims to
inculcate positive behaviours towards the learning and usage of the
English language. HIP is aligned with student aspirations highlighted
in the Malaysia Education Blueprint (MEB) 2013-2025 and supports
five shifts of the MEB as follows:
•Provide equal access to quality education of an international
standard.
•Ensure every child is proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Language and is encouraged to learn an additional language.
•Develop values-driven Malaysians.
•Establish partnership with parents, community and private sector.

•Conduct the self assessment tool for school


•Develop strategic plan and implement activities to
create an English environment in and out of class
•Conduct effective teaching and learning in class
•Organize events and activities in English
•Engage all students in activities in schools.
•Monitor and record student participation in HIP
activities

YANG MENYERLAH DARI SEGI KUALITI PENGGUNAAN BAHASA INGGERIS DAN MENJADIKAN
PRESTASI SEKOLAH TERBILANG DI DALAM DAERAH TANGKAK PADA 2017 -2020

MISI
Pasukan HIP SK TELOK RIMBA berusaha untuk:
• meningkatkan penguasaan empat kemahiran asas Bahasa Inggeris di kalangan murid-murid
iaitu mendengar, menyebut, membaca dan menulis.
• Meningkatkan prasarana SK Telok Rimba dengan maklumat bahasa inggeris.
• meningkatkan peratus kelulusan dalam semua ujian bulanan, Ujian Pertengahan Tahun (UPT),
Ujian Akhir Tahun (UAT) dan UPSR dari segi kualiti dan kuantiti.
• Menyediakan murid-murid SK Telok Rimba untuk menyertai pertandingan ko-akademik Bahasa
Inggeris Peringkat PKG/Daerah mahupun di peringkat kebangsaan.
• Melahirkan warga SK Telok Rimba yang boleh mengoptimumkan penggunaan bahasa inggeris
melalui perbualan dan memberi respon dengan menggunakan bahasa inggeris yang baik.
OBJEKTIF
1. Memastikan aktiviti yang dirancang tidak bercanggah dengan
dasar dan hasrat Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia untuk
memperkasakan Bahasa Inggeris dengan penambahbaikkan
dengan memperkenalkan Program HIP.
1. Memastikan penglibatan murid-murid secara menyeluruh dalam
setiap aktiviti yang dirancang oleh pasukan HIP.
1. Meningkatkan prasarana sekolah SK Telok Rimba dengan
maklumat – maklumat dalam bahasa Inggeris yang boleh
membantu meningkatkan kosa kata dan penguasaan Bahasa
Inggeris.
1. Membantu meningkatkan pencapaian dan penguasaan bahasa
Inggeris dikalangan murid- murid SK Telok Rimba.
