ACTIVITY

EXTREME
What is?
◦ Surfing is standing as long as
possible on the board while turning
and pirouettes are performed as
the displacement occurs on a
wave. In its competitive mode, a
jury is responsible for awarding
scores to each surfer according to
their technique.

Rules
◦ Exist 8 rules important:
1. Priority:Keep in mind that the priority is who is closest to the area where the wave
breaks, that is, the first section where it breaks.
2. Do not jump the waves: If you are at the peak and there is someone who has priority,
(either because it is more inside, or because you have just entered to catch a wave)
do not get ahead and take away the wave.
3. Know your limitations: Surfing is a sport that implies having, in general terms, a good
physical condition. If you see that the strength and size of the waves are too big for
your surfing level, don't mess.
4. If you make a decision, don't back down: If you are going to catch a wave, do it with
determination. When you row the wave, notify the rest of the people who are at the
peak shouting a “I'm going!”.
5. Stay out of reach of other artists when they are on a wave:It is important to be clear
that, when another surfer is catching a wave, we should not interfere with his trajectory.
In this way, you will avoid shocks and abuses.
6. Respect, tolerance and civics: Respect other surfers who are in the water, and above
all help anyone who needs it and is in trouble.
7. Prudence: In a situation of danger, such as a possible crash with another surfer when
you are rowing the wave, do not take it.
8.Your board is your responsibility: Never lose control of your board, or worse, never let go
and leave it at your leisure.
