 What brought about the problem ?

The incidences of improper E-Waste disposal

happening in our some day – to- day living.

Toxicity of soil / ground facilities used in

chemical disposal of industrial sectors.

Pose hazards to ordinary household if these

electronic gadgets improperly disposed.
 What is the necessity of solving the issue?

 Health and Environmental concerns

 Industrial safety and occupational health

 Due to advent of technological progress

people should be more aware of E-waste
management.
 Who are the people/sectors involved?

 The people who are living in the community.

 The LGU’s who are in the front liner in giving

basic services.

 The private sector who are manufacturing the

modern gadgets.
 How they involved ?

 The people in the community that avail the

product that the private companies are offering
like television, air cons, refrigerators cell phone,
laptop, tablet and etc.

 The manufacturers the one who produce the

electronic products, consumers the who consume
and the government who serves as the policy
maker.
 To create a clear definition of E-waste
Management and draw implementing guidelines

 To start implementing standard E-waste

Management in offices, community household
and personal levels.

 To amend some provisions in Republic Act

9003, to include E-waste Management therein.
 To create awareness on E-waste management
among the people and develop a sense of
responsibilities on their part.

 To share a universal vision in achieving a

balanced and healthful environment through
E-waste management

 To advocate E-waste Management in Schools,

Industrial places and Household.
 Amending Republic Act. No. 9003 , otherwise
known as the “ Philippine Ecological Solid
Waste Management Act of 2000,

 CreatingLaws that would require

manufacturer to establishment of Facilities
that focused on Electronic Waste.

 Encourage the private-public partnership

sectors to establish the Electronic waste
Facilities.
 Amending Republic Act No. 9003 and give a
clear guidelines in disposing E-waste.

 There is impact on the environment if proper

disposal of E-waste is attained .

 The creation of Facilities that would cater

e-waste.

According to the Environment Sanitation Centre of Muntinlupa

Junkshops accept e-waste but they cannot process it.
