PRESENT TENSE
1.Simple Present Tense: The simple present
tense is a form of the verb that refers to an
action.
Structure: Sub + base form of verb + object
Example: He goes to university..
PRESENT TENSE
2.Present Continious Tense: Present continuous
tense is described continued or an on going
action of the present.
Structure: Sub+ am/is/are+verb+ing+object
Example: He is going to university.
PRESENT TENSE
3.Present Perfect Tense: Present perfect tense is
to indicate completed activities in the
immediate past
Structure: Sub+have/has+past participle of
verb+object
Example: He has gone to school.
PRESENT TENSE
4.Present perfect continious tense: It shows
that something started in past and is continuing
at the present time
Structure:Sub+have been/has
been+verb+ing+object
Example:They have been playing for five hours
PAST TENSE
1.Simple Past Tense: Time which has passed
away and become past is called sinple past
tense.
Structure:Sub+past form of verb+object
Example: They went to Delhi.
PAST TENSE
2.Past Continious Tense:Past indefinite tense is
that which began in the past and still going on
at the timw of speaking.
Structure:Sub+was/were+verb+ing+object
Example:Somebody was going there..
PAST TENSE
3.Past Perfect Tense:It is used to express two
types of actions which completed in the past.
Structure:Sub+had+past participle of
verb+object
Example:I had lost my phone.

4.Past Perfect Continious Tense: It is used to
described an ongoing action that started in the
past and continued for ssome time in past
Structure:Sub+had been+verb+ing+object
Example: I haf been playing football.
FUTURE TENSE
1.Future Simple Tense: Any action which will
totally happen in future is called future simple
tense
Structure:Sub+shall/will+base form of
verb+object
Example: we will go Delhi.
FUTURE TENSE
2.Future Continious Tense:Simple future is that
something will occur in the future and continue
for a particular time.
Structure: Sub+shall be/will be+verb+ing+object
Example: we will be playing.
FUTURE TENSE
3.Future Perfect Tense:It is used to express an
action which will have completed in future.
Structure: Sub+shall have+will have+past
participle+object
Example: I shall have written my exercise by then.
FUTURE TENSE
4.Future Perfect Continious Tense:It is used for
actions which will be in progress over a period of
time that will end in the future
Structure: Sub+shall have been/will have
been+base form of verb+object
Example:I will have been teaching for twenty years.
